I was in an accident 9/19/2023 where a renter of a Hertz vehicle T-boned my car after running through a red light. She ran right into my drivers side door causing my head to rickashay off my driver window.
So we have a head injury and the accident was at no fault of my own. I have a police report and everything. ESIS insurance/Hertz did not even call or attempt to reach me any other way for over a month. This is after I told them at least 5 times I have a head injury and I need my car to clearly be fixed asap as it is a means to get to my job...HELLO.
This company is horrific and should not be in business. I am now having constant headaches. The gross negligence is seriously disgusting. These people DO NOT care about you or your life or your car.
When I did finally get a call, of course I had a million questions, the first being... Where have you been? I cannot believe this is the first time you are reaching out to me?? I have a head injury and I have been paying for a rental for over a month out of my own pocket...
You know what the rep did? She hung up on me.

On the 16th of August had an uber driver back into my vehicle at the uber lot. He only gave me his ID and I took a picture of his plates we both drive for uber he did not follow proper procedure and did at least a 1000 damage to my bumper.
Got it repaired for 440 instead but no one has contacted me and I know I will be on the hook for repairs. I filed a claim and it has been over a week they lied and told me someone will contact me in five days.

On may 22 2022, my flight was cancelled to Austin TX, had a reservation with hertz since I could not get in touch with hertz counter phone number 1-51*-***-**** their was no answer, my reservation was posted like a no show as explained by Expedia, was told to rental another car that they would attend the situation since Expedia neither could get in touch with hertz My Confirmation # K025328**** with hertz. My flight was from Atlanta to Austin DL-2134 was cancelled had no other choice or option after two standby then to take a flight to San Antonio and to rental with hertz again I need help with a refund or credit I paid 1,451.73

Im bein charge with a felony not knowing why is it so serious to report a car stolen when I use my license my credit card ok fine I understand I was late on the return but you choose to go the cheapest way out and thats to put out a police report about me stealing the that I came to pick up from yall location your staff handed me the keys I sign paperwork at the desk I didnt come to the location and take no keys no car without my permission so for me to be facing prison time away from my family I think its a bigger problem

I rented a car though hertz and I was jailed on 09/25/2020 on a felony case for me to use my own identity with my own credit card my own license why should I spend time in prison for some u paid my money for I rent a car just to get put in prison and since 2008 hertzs been reporting they cars stolen because they cant keep up on the inventory instead of takin time to locate the car or what the case maybe why is yall steady reporting the cars stolen when some many peoples been jail lost jobs lost houses because of hertzs mistakes I mean I gotta leave my family to go to prison for some hertzs supposedly stop doin a long time ago but just over a year I been goin though court I lost my girl cant get a job all because my on goin felony case with you guys

A hertz customer ran into my car. I have tried 14 different # hertz #s either i am hold waiting to talk to some one for over 1 min or they are more interested in renting a car.
Even your local agencies do not answer. I m trying to find out what insurance company covers you accident claims.
HERTZ HAS A ZERO RATING IN CUSTOMER SERICE AT THIS POINT. I am a Hertz customer but at this point I do not think so anymore, if I have to go through all of this to try and get an answer.

User's recommendation: Corporate "Hertz Claim Management" never answered me but seemed to pass off to other companies to handle claims. I resolved my issue my getting Viking Billing Service and Card Benefits Company together. They were exceedingly helpful and prompt. Hertz was unresponsive.

ESIS Insurance is protecting Hertz’s interests. Even though the other driver is at fault, you need to get your insurance company involved.
That is what you pay them for.
They will send letter, emails and make phone calls. As it is now, they(ESIS), aren’t going to do anything.
